ICBC Claims

At Achieve Rehab, we’re dedicated to keeping our clients and staff informed about the latest ICBC updates. Effective April 1st, 2019, ICBC has revised its policy to enhance treatment access for auto accident victims. This update specifically benefits practitioners such as acupuncturists, clinical counselors, massage therapists, chiropractors, kinesiologists, and physiotherapists.

Furthermore, ICBC’s coverage now extends to all previous, current, and future claims, ensuring everyone receives the benefits of this policy adjustment. Those with existing or approved claims before April 1 will also enjoy these updates for their remaining treatments.”

How To Make A Claim with ICBC?

Before reporting an ICBC claim you will need

  • The license plate number of each vehicle involved
  • Driver’s license number of each vehicle
  • Insurance information for vehicles not insured by ICBC

You can directly call 604-520-8222 or report an ICBC claim online at icbc.com/claims/report. All parties involved in an MVA accident, no matter the fault, are eligible for ICBC treatment benefits.

Once you have your insurance claim number, simply reach out to us. Our Surrey, Burnaby, and Vancouver locations are open seven days a week,  Contact us at 778-513-2695, or email support@achieverehab.ca to schedule a consultation.

We require three items:

  1. Your ICBC insurance claim number
  2. Your full name
  3. Date of your car accident

Once we have this, treatment begins promptly. Our goal is to personalize treatment programs to speed up your recovery. During your first consultation, our healthcare professionals will assess your condition and recommend a tailored treatment plan. Treatment sessions must start within 12 weeks of the accident. If not, approval from an ICBC claims adjuster is required.

After the initial 12 weeks of recovery treatment covered by ICBC, additional sessions may be necessary based on the accident’s severity. If needed, our team will liaise with the patient’s ICBC claims adjuster to seek approval for continued treatment. Approval is possible for patients following their personalized plan with genuine or urgent needs.
